+ How much do you charge?

For an idea of our rates, please refer to our Services page. We offer various different Services and Packages and our prices are clearly stated. For details of what you get at that price you can click on the button to know more. We believe that everyone deserves a well-designed interior space and our packages allow us to provide that for you.

+ Do you offer free consultations?

Yes we provide no cost 20 min consultations by phone called Discovery Call. We can help answer questions regarding your project and we can discuss which of our design services will suit your needs.

+ Can we meet you before we can commit to your Design Services?

We provide a 2 hour Initial Design Consultation Service before start of a Project. We charge a non-refundable fee for our initial in-home consultation since we are blocking out a specific time on our calendar and traveling to your home to assess the space, make recommendations, give solid design advice and direction, and put together a Fee Proposal for you.

+ Do you offer any kind of discounts on any products or furnishings?

Our pricing model is that we share a portion of any trade discounts that we receive with our clients on products where available and possible

+ Do you offer discounts if I hire you for more than one project?

All Project Designs take a considerable amount of time and effort to achieve a high level of output to provide you with the best outcome. Discounting on the price would lead to discounted design effort which would be against our policy of quality work. Therefore, we do not give any discounts.

If you have many smaller projects, we do offer a set of Versatile Design Offers with attached Services which can be beneficial to you.

+ Do you have Designer Discounts on products and can we use your discounts?

Many a times with our vetted vendors we do get better pricing on products that are less than retail, which we do make available to our clients as and when we can. We however do not shop around for designer discounts and would not ask for it with any retail vendor you may find. We also do not encourage our clients to walk in into any showroom that are not recommended by us and ask for discounts on our behalf. Any such action will result in termination of our agreement without any refund of Design Fees

We work with our selected trusted vendors and showrooms who provide us quality products and are vetted by us as they stand by their product. On the merit that we have built a relationship with them we would highly encourage you purchase through us directly if we source products for you and not use our product pricing or quotes to shop around.


+ Why and when should I hire an Interior Designer?

Working with an interior designer can help you avoid making costly mistakes during the construction or remodel process. Additionally, you get the benefit of their experience and knowledge as well as their access to the products and trades-people you need to get the best results for your project. A designer can help at any stage of the Design Process; however, the best results are experienced when the designer is involved in the process from the beginning of your project

+ What is your design style?

If you ask us we do have a personal style which we will use for our own homes. But that may not necessarily fit our clients’ style. For you as our clients’ your preferences, the architecture of the home, and budget will dictate the interior’s style direction. We always avoid overdone styles, and find ways to bring out our client’s personality in a fresh way in each space.

+ Do you work with small budgets or on one room or area only?

A big part of what we do is to help our clients set a suitable budget for their needs. There are several misconceptions in the marketplace today about what design and decorating cost. We help educate you on the value of items and how to maximize whatever your budget is.

+ Can I see samples of your work?

The Portfolio page on this site has a good sampling of our Designs and Projects. Feel free to contact us to see more images of details or ask us any questions not addressed here.

+ How long will our project take?

Every project is different and timeline depends on project complexity, your availability and response time to communication & your comfort to making decisions in a timely manner. A typical small kitchen remodel may take approximately 3-4 months to design and build. A living room remodel may take a month to design, and 2 months to receive and install all product and furniture. If you are remodeling your bathroom, the process may take 2 months from start to finish. A custom home design from start to finish may take 3 months to layout, and plan the details and another 4-6 months for construction to complete. So on an average from Design Planning to Construction finish it may take 3-4 months for smaller projects and 6-9 months for bigger projects. Some projects may take longer due to unforeseen delays that we do not have control over – some examples being Permit Delays, Strata decision delays, unavailability of a certain product in the market and waiting time for it, change orders from clients etc.

+ When should we start planning for a project or how far in advance should we call you?

It takes time to achieve a good result hence we advise to start planning with lots of time in hand. There are many decisions that needs to be made and contacting us early gives us enough time to understand the scope of work, provide design concepts, select finishes, quote material and finalize drawings. If you come to us with your project with very little time in hand and want to rush on it, we have to charge extra for providing a rush service as we have to stall our other projects to take care of yours. And usually we are scheduled for all our work in advance and making ourselves available on short notice disrupts our prior commitments.

+ What is your Design process?

We provide an easy-to-understand step by step Design Process from Initial Consultation, to Design Concept, Preliminary Design, Finalizing the Design, Budgeting and then Product Sourcing to Construction Phase for our Full Service Interior Design providing our clients a full spectrum turn-key service from start to finish. + What are your Packages used for?

Our Packages can be used for making Design Plans for your Renovation, Re-modelling or new constrcution puposes. For any kind of constrcution work you need a road map and our packages provide just that. You can also use them for consulting if you are in the process of your project and are stuck and need some help. If you need someone to manage your project or source some products when you are not doing an extensive renovation our packages can be customized for just that.

+ Can we only buy one Package?

You can buy one or more - any package of your choice. If you think you just need direction and need to talk to a designer you can buy our eDesign Advice Package for Consultation only. If you think you need more you can buy our Kitchen Design, Bathroom Design or Interior Design Package. And then if you want further help then you can have us Supervise or Project Manage & source all the products, get quotes and see the constrcution through on your behalf.

We are really flexible with our options and if you do not see in our services what you are looking for we have some options that are not all on the website and we make those available on request.

But the only thing worthy of note is that if you want us to do the designs of your space for you then you have to first get the Discovery Call done, followed by the Design Consult and then the Design Package. Without a Consult we will not know what to design for.

+ How do we buy your Packages & Services?

You will be prepurchasing a Package before we start working with you. We do not do a 50% deposit anymore as it creates disruption in the work process.

Based on your need you let us know which package you want to purchase and we will send you a link to buy the package online if there is no LIVE link on the website, where you can use your Credit Card to pay. However we have to express that there is a small percentage of transaction fee that you have to partly pay to buy online as we use an external vendor to make the online transaction possible. The advantage is that you can collect your CC reward points with your bank.

But if you think that it is not something that you want to do then we can have you send us an e-transfer. At this time because of COVID-19 we have stopped taking check payments.

+ What is the benefit of your Packages?

Design is about 60% planning, 30% doing & 10% fine tuning. So without planning, if you embark upon "doing" then the process can be hilly with lots of pitfalls & mistakes and most of them costly mistakes. So our Packages are a way for you to hire us for your project planning and direction.

Packages also help us provide you with a flat rate for our design services so you get maximum value when you hire us. Hourly services work best for shorter chunks of time when you need our help or when there is need of ongoing support for your bigger project over a length of time and you can call on us when needed.

+ Do you have any Packages that I can implement on my own?

Absolutely! We will have a number of pre-designed packages on every aspect of the home (coming soon) that you can purchase and use for your benefit or if you want to take it over to carry out. For some of them you might need modification a bit to fit to your needs & space. We do provide that editing service at a very comfortable rate after you purchase the package & of course after discussion with you.

+ What happens after you hand over the designs to us?

After the Designs are completed we will provide you with a pdf copy of the full Drawings Package on a shared Google Drive that is exclusive to you where you can see all the drawing files and documents that you can download as many times as you want or when ever you want.

You can then use the drawings, design scheme, mood boards & 3D Illustration as a blue print to source the products shown by yourself and hire a Contractor yourself to carry out the Construction work or do the work yourself if you have the knowhow.

Alternately if you want us to, you can hire us to continue the project for you whereby we can do all the above tasks mentioned, with our Project Execution Packages for each service and hand over the completed project to you.

+ Can we deal directly with the Contractor?

If you want to you can absolutely deal directly with the Contractor only if you hire your own. If you want to hire our recommended Contractor with whom we work consistently on our projects then we would like to handle the Project Execution ourselves and you would purchase the Project Execution Package to do so.

When we have our Contractor take up the Construction of your project all communication would pass through us to the contractor.

+ Do we have to work with your contractor or can we bring our own?

You can absolutely bring your contractor and take up the completion of your project yourself. In that case if you want us to source for products then the purchase of those products will be made through our firm. You can also hire us on an hourly basis if you want us to do any site visits on need basis or for any consultation during contruction stage.

+ Can we get just the Designs from you?

Yes Absolutely. If you want you can hire us to do the designs only. That would involve the Discovery Call, the Initial Design Consultation as well as the Design Package. Its a 3 step process and without the first 2 processes the designs cannot be created.

+ Do we have to buy from you the products recommended by you?

If you have us source the products for you from our trusted vendors we highly recommend purchasing the products through us. Our vendors are all vetted by us and purchasing through us will allow you to avail the better designer rates wherever available.

If you buy those same products from the vendors recommended by us chances are that most vendors sell only through designers and do not sell to the general public. In other cases if some of those vendors were to work with you, you can only purchase at retail prices which is higher than if purcahsed through us.

MOST IMPORTANT If you buy direct from those vendors you may not use our name to get any designer discounts. Please see our Policies and Rules about that and all our clients agree to this when they sign our Design Agreement. We run our business ethically and we would like all our clients to respect that.
